Book Review: Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood

My thoughts

As a not-so-quiet lover of The Love Hypothesis, Hazelwood's debut novel that released February 2020, Love On The Brain was by far my most anticipated release of 2022. The three Steminist Novellas curbed my appetite for a while, but not long.

I am happy to report Love On The Brain did not disappoint! The chemistry was amazing, the love interest was incredibly swoonworthy, and the ending was phenomenal.

I sat through the entire book going "this is so predictable" (which is not an issue for me, especially with romance), but that plot twist! As a general rule I don't like big suspenseful scenes in romance novels, but Ali Hazelwood pulled it off.

Last point I will make: I have never wanted to physically write in a book before, but there were so many times I wanted to make notes about how I was feeling at different points of the book. I didn't, but there were a ton of tabs.

Plot/Book Details

After a somewhat-struggling career, Bee is a neuroscientist who is hired by NASA to lead their latest project. She could not be more excited for the opportunity until she is notified of who her co-lead is: Levi Ward, her grad school nemesis.
